There has been a big accident in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh. During the construction of the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway here, two laborers were buried under it due to falling a pillar. After which the police and rescue team reached the spot. Both laborers were safely taken out and sent to the hospital for treatment.
In the accident on the expressway under construction, both the workers have suffered injuries in their legs. The officer of Deoband, Ravikant Parashar, told the media during a conversation with the media that during the construction of the expressway, a pillar was being transferred from one place to another with the help of a machine. Then the pillar fell and two laborers suffered injuries in their legs. The leg of a laborer was also fractured.

According to the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), no one has been pressed under the pillar at present. Both have been rescued by rescuing.
Vehicles will be filled on Delhi-Dehradun Expressway
Delhi-Dehradun Expressway is an important project. Which will connect Delhi to Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand. This expressway will be 210 km long. The journey of 6 hours from this expressway will decrease to just 2.5 hours. This expressway will connect Delhi, Baghpat, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Saharanpur and Dehradun. The construction of this expressway was to be completed by 2024. The total cost in the construction of the expressway has come to 2423 crores.
The expressway will help in the development of tourism and industry. Also, there will be a decrease in traffic jams and pollution. The expressway is being built with both Greenfield and Brownfield techniques. There are plans for solar power system and plantation along the entire expressway. This expressway will also be equipped with Intelligent Traffic Management System, which will help in preventing road accidents.
