The Special Task Force of Uttar Pradesh has arrested two vicious criminals while achieving a major success. These criminals used to form organized gangs with Chinese citizens and do cyber fraud through digital arrest, gaming and trading apps.
The arrested criminals have been identified as Rohan Aggarwal and Harsh Vardhan Gupta. Rohan Aggarwal is a resident of Prayagraj, while Harsh Vardhan Gupta is a resident of Kanpur city.
Police have recovered several important documents and materials from them, including 14 debit/credit cards, 3 Aadhar cards, 1 PAN card, 1 driving license, 1 passport, 7 mobile phones and Rs 4 lakh cash.
According to the police, these criminals used to do cyber fraud with Chinese citizens and provide muel bank accounts to their comrades on commission basis. He used to get these accounts from his colleagues sitting in various cities.
Police said that these criminals used to stay in touch with Chinese citizens through the Telegram app and used to connect bank accounts through API tools to cyber fraud.
The police have registered a case against these criminals in Surajpur, Gautam Buddha Nagar police station and further investigation is being done.
