Method 1
- Dial 1800-120-4210 to close Fastag through calls and provide your registered mobile number and vehicle registration number (VRN) or tag ID.
- A Paytm Customer Assistance Agent will confirm the closure of your Fastag.
- However, in some cases it does not work, so you have another method where you have to use the Paytm app.
Method 2
- First open the Paytm app and tap on the profile icon present in the top right corner.
- Now tap on “Help & Support”.
- Tap on “Fastag” on the “Banking Services & Payments” section here.
- Now tap on “chat with us” and select the appropriate option to start deactivation process
Keep in mind that according to government guidelines, any user will have to completely collect the previous tag before applying the new Fastag in the vehicle. In such a situation, Paytm will also ask for a picture of the tagged tag.
