How to Turn off Read Receipts on Facebook Messenger
The Facebook Messenger does not have any option to disable the reed recycle. But here there is an option in the settings which Active on It is said. Whenever you come online through this, your online status appears here. After disabled it, online status stops appearing active. After turning off it, the time of your previous login or active status is also not visible to another user.
For this, you do these steps-
Go to Messenger App and click on Profile Icon. Now go to the active 'on' and set it on 'Off' from here. However, a process can be done here so that you can read the message without the sender.
Whenever you receive a message in Facebook Messenger, then turn on the airplane mode from the settings of your phone. This will stop internet connection and other network connections.
Now open the messenger and read the message. After reading the message, close the app and swipe the app out of the app drawer.
Now close the airplane mode of your device. In this way the sender will not know whether you read their message or not. Until you open the Messenger app again.
